Auckland Montessori College

Auckland Montessori College is the only independent Montessori high school for students aged 11 - 18 years old in New Zealand. Students learn in a way that suits them, as we ‘follow the child’. We value respect, independence and agency. Our ABC is Accepted, Belonging and Community.

Our school celebrates diversity.

Our curriculum is generated around individual student interests. We encourage hands on learning. We encourage academic learning through NCEA studies, the student is able to choose how and when to engage. Students arrange their work independently with teacher guidance. We deliver a range of subjects, dependent on the students’ interests

Montessori education is over 110 years old, and is a global leader in education, found all around the world. Montessori education follows the work of Maria Montessori, who founded the approach. There are many preschools and primary schools.

We have a high trust relationship with the students. We acknowledge that each learning pathway is different so we want to help each learner find their own way.

We look forward to showing you around.

Our Campus is Panmure - Ground floor, 18 Pilkington Road, Panmure, Auckland.
Please note the Constellation campus closed at the end of 2025.
